About S.A.F.E.
S.A.F.E. is a non-profit organization funded by the State of Georgia, various United States federal agencies, and by local contributions. We rely on community support and volunteers to carry out our programs.
Our purpose is to help those who are trapped in abusive relationships. We realize that the process of finding alternatives to abusive domestic relationships is complex. We believe that through a comprehensive array of services, victims can find hope.
At S.A.F.E. we have a vision statement that expresses one of our goals, "To be the primary voice for advocacy and empowerment for those victims involved in domestic and sexual abuse in Towns and Union Counties."

When a victim enters the S.A.F.E. program, the person undergoes a transformation. Like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, the individual becomes empowered as personal views and outlooks change. To be part of this experience is to see freedom in flight and hope for the future.
