S.A.F.E. Sexual Assault Program

Initiated in 2001, to answer a growing need in our community, the program helps prevent sexual harassment and sexual abuse. This program is based on the philosophy that violence against one another may be prevented through education on healthy relationships, conflict resolution, communication skills, and current laws.

Sexual Abuse and Assault Victim Services also include:

• Legal Advocacy
• Support Groups
• Court and Medical Accompaniment
• Professional Training
• 24-hour Crisis Line
• Coordination of local Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART)
• Coordination of local Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program
